Exercise 3: Character Sheet
Create a character sheet to specify how your character will look and act.
Exercise 3: Character Sheet
Here is an example of an actual character sheet for an animatronic Grumpy used at Walt Disney Imagineering. Notice how his key actions are defined:
Activity: Using a blank page make a simple character sheet for your character. It should contain:
- A rough sketch of your character in one or more key poses
- Draw the key motions you want your character to perform (does the head need to turn? Do the eyes or mouth need to move?)
- Describe the Personality of your character in one or two sentences.
- Describe the Story behind the character in one or two sentences.
You can layout your character sheet as follows:

- Rafiki will have elegant movements above the vine and in the dark trackless ride, Timon will be on pumbas back and they are dancing to hakuna matata with simba looking at confused.Scar on the ride, hyena chase, he will be moving his head and tail while letting out a big load roar on each track with the elephants and giraffe moving there heads and tails in the way of the track (hyenas).(4 votes)
- that is really good detail of your characters and how they would be moving(0 votes)
- Disney has many job opportunities in their imagineering department; however, the competition to get in is fierce. Most of the jobs are extremely specific, and sometimes groups are hired for only a short time. Though Disney says that engineers are more likely to influence the layout and brainstorming of a park because they work more in the concrete than architects, there are many non-math related careers such as concep(3 votes)
- this character of mine in a newly recruit to the resistance against the triumphant axis powers and the year is set to 2099. he is a young and unknowing character but people should be able to sympathize to the family that he lost. He is cheerful and tries to be the half full glass of water in your day and the person in a costume acts as a guide for people who need to get around the park. He has a cheerful spring in his step and is fast, but waits for others.(3 votes)
- i don't know how to draw a person in 3-d(2 votes)
- There will be many characters in my land, but I am focusing on a raptor.(2 votes)
- I'm not entirely sure what I'm supposed to do but I'll give it a shot.
Character Poses.
name- Yuki Miura.
Personality- Creative, reserved and responsible, but also stubborn and intense.
Story- He's angry and is telling a friend off for snapping out at Sakura.
Name- Sakura Asuka.
Personality- usually calm but frightened in this case, reserved, quiet and submissive.
Story- trying to calm Yuki down so as not to make him hurt his own friend.
Mind you, the story is not for their entire lives or personalities but rather for the motions and actions in the character sheet which I'm drawing.(1 vote) - The personality of Jerome is that he's always sad on the inside but happy on the outside. Jerome's dad left him at a young age in the city and his mom was the only one that took care of him so that's why he is sad on the inside but happy on the outside. Jerome has brown wavy hair he is 26 years old and he walks in formal way everyday down his apartment to get to his car he blinks slowly and is formal in every way he moves.(1 vote)
- How do you make a story with the key.(1 vote)
- for some of the people that are out there asking, " how do you get the job that's right for you?" it all depends on them. (Disney) they get to decide the place for you. are you good at drawing? they might put you in the sketch department. are you handy with a needle and thread? maybe the costume department. how about theater? maybe you can be a fur, or a princess, or a star wars character.( BTW if you want to be a princess, they don't let you pick.) I hope this helped, and that this gets a few upvotes, cause this took a while to type all this.(1 vote)
