# Converting decimals and percents review

Review writing decimals as percents and percents as decimals. Then, try some practice problems.

## What does percent mean?

Percent means 'per hundred.' So, we can replace a percent sign with 'per hundred.'

To write a percent as a decimal, we divide the percent by 100.

## Writing decimals as percents

To write a decimal as a percent, we multiply the decimal by 100.
