The most commonly used system of numerals is the Hindu–Arabic numeral system. Two Indian mathematicians developed it. Aryabhata of Kusumapura developed the place-value notation in the 5th century and a century later Brahmagupta introduced the symbol for zero.(8 votes)

Multiplication is also known as repeated addition.

Can I first count the first row and then multyply next example there is 2 rows and total is 10 5 multyply 2 is =10 (not the best English)(3 votes)
Yes, and this is an excellent way of counting large groups of things that are ordered in rows or columns. Later, you will use this process for multiplication and division as well.(0 votes)

this use to trick me in order for you to answer that question you have to add 2-2=x as the same 2-2= sometimes. are you can use your second method. Practice makes perfect remember that(1 vote)

One, two, three, four, five. There are five flowers.
