Lesson 2: Area of a parallelogram

Finding height of a parallelogram

In this lesson, we learned that the area of a parallelogram equals the base times the height. Given an area of 24 units and a base of 6 units, we used this formula to find the missing height. The answer was 4 units. Isn't math fun?

• The 5 is supposed to mislead you. The reason why is because they are trying to see if you know what number to use. For that question, your supposed to find the height but the number 5 it not one of the numbers you use. Hope this helps!
