About this unit
This unit presents a brief but provocative introduction to the wide-ranging field of bioethics, highlighting several contexts in which bioethical issues might show up in our lives.
In exploring questions about the patient-provider relationship, the debate over voluntary euthanasia, and the ethics of biomedical enhancement, we illustrate how such complex ethical issues can be productively investigated and discussed from a philosophically-minded perspective.
