Understanding Bernoulli's equation

Problem

Jishan studies two points at the same height, 1 and 2, in a streamlined flow inside a tube of varying cross-sections. He already knows the pressure and flow speed at point 1 to be P1 and v1.
But at point 2, he measures the pressure, P2, with a sensor that blocks the flow in order to get the reading. He calculates the flow speed, v2, using Bernoulli's equation.
What can he say about the correctness of P2 and v2?
